KATS Ayurveda College & Hospital is one among three
govt. Ayurveda colleges in Odisha. It was established on August 15 1978 under
private management by the founder Late Kaviraja Ananta Tripathy Sharma, Ex-MP
and renowned Ayu. Physician in the country. The state govt . has under taken
over this college on Dt. 01.04.1994. It is providing BAMS course of strength of
thirty students regularly each year. There are fourteen dept. and thirty-five
teaching faculties working in this institution under the principal ship of
Prof. Dr. Jayanarayan Hota. It has a hundred bedded hospital and OPD giving service to the society.
